Palm Tools are a good starting point for small projects such as caricatures, walking sticks, figurines or tableware. They fit comfortably in the palm of a hand and are shorter in length than normal wood carving knives, offering better control. The Palm Sweeps Tools vary in curvature and the lower the number (#), the flatter the curve.
So this tool is closer to straight beveled palm chisel, and its curve is showned on pic below.
